Below the eagle, the firm name DANIEL GONZALEZ Y COMPA is set in bold letterpress type flanked by two ornate guilloche rosettes bearing the numeral 1. The note bears a handwritten date of August 1866 and the place name Mendoza, with two manuscript signatures at the lower portion. |
