Anmerkungen

The Banco de Honduras was a private commercial bank granted note-issuing authority, not a central bank — Honduras wouldn't establish a central bank until the Banco Central de Honduras was founded in 1950. ABNC printed several series for the institution over the years, and their engraved plates were typically retained and sometimes reworked for successor issues, meaning the underlying geometry of this note's design may predate 1922 by a decade or more.

P#29 is scarce in any grade. The bank's circulation footprint was limited to a country with a small monetized economy heavily dollarized by United Fruit Company payroll practices.
