| Descripción del reverso | The reverse is printed in a single dark ink on plain paper stock, bearing a rectangular border of fine typographic ornaments. The central text, set in letterpress, states the government's obligation to accept the note as legal tender (moneda corriente) in payment of taxes and contributions, and commits to its exchange at the Tesorería General del Departamento for Banco Nacional notes within six months of the date; the text concludes with the place and date 'Bucaramanga, 1° de Noviembre de 1899' and the title 'El Tesorero General del Departamento', below which appears a manuscript signature. |
