| Beschrijving keerzijde | A crowned shield bearing three passant lions arranged in pale — the civic arms of Reval — occupies the central field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in a style typical of early seventeenth-century hammered coinage. The peripheral legend, divided across both sides of the shield, reads CIVITAT - REVAL, an abbreviated form of Civitatis Revaliensis, identifying the issuing city authority. The overall die workmanship reflects the variable quality characteristic of hammered small silver denominations of this period. |

Reval — present-day Tallinn — struck these small silver öre under Swedish authority following Gustavus Adolphus's consolidation of control over the Baltic provinces. The city retained limited municipal minting rights during this period, producing coins that circulated alongside Swedish royal issues but carried distinct local character. Reval's mint was active only intermittently, and its output from these years was modest enough that the Haljak reference remains the essential resource for separating the die varieties catalogued under KM#1 and KM#2.
