The characters are boldly struck in raised relief, filling the field in a dense arrangement typical of medieval South Asian copper coinage. A partial beaded border encircles the inscription along the irregular edge. The script is executed in the northern Nagari style, consistent with the epigraphic conventions of 13th-century Sri Lankan royal issues. |
