Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is divided into two vertical panels by a ruled border. The left panel contains the circular arms of Wilhelmshaven — a shield bearing an eagle and anchor motif surmounted by a crown, set within a hatched roundel — with the denomination '1 Mk.' in large Fraktur type below. The right panel carries the issuer's name 'Stadt Wilhelmshaven' at the top, the value 'Eine Mark' in bold Fraktur as the central legend, followed by a redemption guarantee text in smaller Fraktur script, and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat.' at the lower right.

Descrizione del rovescio	The reverse is printed on plain cream-coloured paper with a faint rectangular underprint watermark pattern visible through the stock. A single block of Fraktur text, centred on the note, states the validity condition referencing the redemption deadline of 1 February 1919 at the municipal treasury (Kämmereikasse) or the municipal savings bank (städtische Sparkasse).
