备注

Swinemünde's municipal savings bank issued this note during the severe small-change shortage that plagued German cities in the early 1920s — a period when Reichsbank coins were being hoarded or melted faster than they could be replaced. Städtische Sparkassen across Pomerania and Silesia stepped into the gap, issuing notgeld backed by nothing more formal than local institutional reputation.

Flemming & Wiskott in Glogau were prolific notgeld printers, supplying dozens of municipal issuers across the region. Their production volume meant short turnaround times — a practical priority when a town needed circulating scrip within weeks.
