Beschrijving keerzijde Central field displays a bold numeral 1 in decorative style, flanked by two large stylized leaves. Beneath the numeral, a detailed snail in high relief is depicted amid additional foliage and scrollwork. To the lower left of the numeral appears a heart symbol within a circular medallion, and to the lower right a sun or flower motif enclosing an Om symbol, reflecting the eclectic symbolism of the Christiania community. The denomination LØN is inscribed in the lower field, and the entire design is bordered by a fine denticulated rim.

Aanvullende informatie

Christiania has issued its own internal currency intermittently since the 1970s, used within the freetown's boundaries in Copenhagen as a deliberate rejection of Danish state economic systems. The 2015 brass issue came during a period of renewed tension with Danish authorities over property ownership — the community had only recently concluded a long legal dispute by collectively purchasing the land in 2011 after decades of squatting.

These pieces circulate, if at all, exclusively within Pusher Street vendors and the commune's internal economy.
