| Obverse description | The upper portion of the note carries the bold red inscription REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI arching across the top, with a serial number to the upper left and series designation to the lower right. At center, the Haitian national coat of arms — a palm tree flanked by cannons and flags above a trophy of arms — is set within a circular guilloche vignette, beneath which the national motto LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE runs in large letters. The lower portion contains a printed authorization text with three signature lines for the Delegue des Finances, Delegue du Commerce, and Delegue du Conseil d'Etat, above the denomination UNE GOURDE in the bottom margin. |
