| Description de l’avers | Facing enthroned figure of Saint Peter, patron saint of Trier, depicted in high relief in the Gothic style, nimbed and robed in draped ecclesiastical vestments. The saint holds a patriarchal cross in his right hand and a book (the Gospels) in his left; at his feet, at the base of the coin, appears the arms of Manderscheid as a heraldic shield. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend in uncial Latin characters running between the inner and outer beaded borders. |

| Description du revers | Central crowned and pointed oval shield bearing the quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Trier: the field is divided into quarters displaying the cross of Trier and the wavy-barred arms (Zickzack) of the electorate, surmounted by a pointed Gothic arch. The shield is set within the coin's field, framed by a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend in uncial Latin letters, reading between the inner and outer beaded borders, identifies this as a new gold coinage struck at Coblenz. |
