| Description du revers | A pointed shield bearing the arms of Mainz — the distinctive six-spoked wheel — is set within a cusped trilobe or trefoil frame composed of three pointed Gothic arches, centrally placed in the field. The trilobe is rendered in relief with clean, precise lines characteristic of hammered Rhenish coinage of the period. A Latin legend in Gothic script encircles the central device within a beaded border, completing the reverse design. |
