| Opis awersu | The obverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, arranged in three or four horizontal registers across the flan. The inscription, reading 'al-sultan al-a'zam nasir al-dunya wa'l-din' (the most exalted sultan, defender of the world and the faith), is boldly struck in high relief against a flat, undecorated field. The lettering exhibits the characteristically compact and slightly irregular style typical of hammered copper coinage of the Gujarat Sultanate. The flan is irregular in shape with a slightly raised rim, and the surfaces display a patina of green and brown consistent with age and circulation. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse field is similarly filled with a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, disposed in three horizontal registers across the irregular flan. The inscription reads 'mahmud shah muhammad shah bin al-sultan' (Mahmud Shah, son of Muhammad Shah, the Sultan), recording the ruler's name and dynastic lineage in the customary formulaic style of Sultanate-period copper coinage. A horizontal line divides the upper and lower portions of the legend. The strike is bold though slightly off-center, and the flan exhibits the same green-brown patination as the obverse. |
