The shield is richly mantled with ornate Baroque strapwork and displays the dynastic quarterings associated with Silesian Piast heraldry. The date AN. 1660 appears in the upper field flanking a crowned orb, while the pious motto legend SORS MEA A - DOMINO AN. encircles the entire composition within a beaded border, meaning 'My fate is from the Lord.' |
