Surrounding the inner beaded border, the legend THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE arcs along the upper portion, while REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA appears along the lower portion. The outer field, rendered in a frosted finish contrasting with the polished inner circle, displays an engraved background of overlapping national flags — including the Stars and Stripes and the Canadian Maple Leaf flag — evoking the Allied nations of the Second World War. The word LIBERTY is inscribed in large spaced capital letters along the upper right arc of the coin. To the left of the central device, a small five-pointed star appears above the commemorative dates 1945 and 2025, separated by a horizontal rule, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. Concentric arc lines frame the composition in the left field.
