| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau rendered in low relief at the base of the horseshoe-shaped flan, positioned centrally between the two prongs. The arms are accompanied by the inscription RAINBOW'S END in the exergue beneath the shield. The legend ONE DOLLAR runs along the left arm of the horseshoe in an upward orientation, while REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the right arm, both legends struck in raised capital letters against a matte field. |
