| Beschrijving keerzijde | A four-horse Kingston stagecoach in full gallop occupies the central reverse field, depicted in high relief with a driver seated atop the coach holding the reins. The detailed composition, engraved by Susan Taylor, captures the dynamism of 19th-century Canadian overland mail and passenger transport, with a landscape vista suggested in the background. The legend CANADA 1992 DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower periphery in bold capital letters. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Kingston stagecoach dollar commemorates the 175th anniversary of the first mail-carrying stagecoach route in Canada, which ran between York (Toronto) and Kingston beginning in 1817. The route covered roughly 260 kilometers of notoriously poor Upper Canadian roads, and the journey took the better part of three days in favorable conditions.
Two circulation strike finishes were issued — one in proof, one in brilliant uncirculated — accounting for the dual Charlton references under a single KM number.
