Reverse description The reverse features a coloured pad-printed design commemorating the centenary of Qantas and the merger of Australian Airlines with Qantas. At the centre, two aircraft are depicted in dynamic diagonal composition — a vintage biplane and a modern jet — evoking the airline's evolution over 100 years. A stylised arc rendered in red, white, and dark blue encircles the central motif, echoing the livery colours of Australian Airlines. The iconic Qantas flying kangaroo roundel appears in the lower right field within a circular emblem. The upper legend reads AUSTRALIAN AIRLINES MERGER, while THE AUSTRALIAN AIRLINE and the date range 1920 – 2020 are inscribed across the aircraft fuselage. The lower legend reads QANTAS, with the designer's initials SNS at lower right.
