| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by a prominent six-pointed star (hexagram) formed by two interlaced triangles in raised relief, set within an irregular polygonal flan with a beaded border. Arabic Kufic inscription occupying the interior of the star reads the Shahada and the name of the ruler Mukaththir b. 'Isa b. Fulayta. Small annulets are placed in the spaces between the star's points, serving as decorative fillers. The entire design is executed in the hammered tradition characteristic of Sharifate of Mecca coinage of the 12th century AH. |
