| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field displays a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged within a concave arc or mihrab-like border, with additional marginal inscriptions partially visible along the lower periphery. The hammered flan is irregular and slightly chipped at the edges, with a heavily granular, porous surface characteristic of North African silver dirhams of the 5th century AH. The legends are struck in relief in Kufic script, with the central inscription occupying the majority of the field and framed by a single concentric inner border. The marginal legend, partially legible, runs along the lower rim of the coin. Overall fabric and execution are consistent with Idrisid-derived coinage traditions maintained under the later Fès emirate. |
