| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a stylized armillary sphere rendered in a highly schematic fashion, consistent with the Portuguese colonial iconographic tradition identifying the issuing Crown. The design is composed of intersecting curved bands representing the celestial rings of the sphere, set within a plain circular border. The execution is characteristically rough, reflecting the crude striking technique and soft tin-lead alloy used for this low-denomination colonial issue. No legend or additional inscription is present on the reverse. |
