At the upper point, a crescent and star counterstamp; at the lower point, the date counterstamp reading 157Z (for 1572). The field is otherwise plain, consistent with the emergency nature of this siege coinage. |

| Opis rewersu | Completely plain and uninscribed reverse, typical of emergency klippe siege coinage produced under the exigencies of the 1572 Siege of Haarlem. The flat, unworked field retains file marks and surface irregularities consistent with a hastily prepared silver flan. Old collector notations in ink are visible near the upper and lower points of the rhomboid. |
