| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large, centrally placed St. Edward's Crown dominates the reverse field, rendered in bold relief with intricate detailing including fleurs-de-lis, a cross pattée surmounting an orb at the apex, and a beaded band with decorative panel motifs along the base. The designer George Kruger Gray's initials 'KG' appear to the right of the crown's base. The inscription COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination ONE CROWN and the date 1938 are disposed in two lines beneath the crown, all separated by raised dots and a small cross atop the legend. |
