| Reverse description | The reverse displays two Manchu script characters cast in raised relief on either side of the central square hole, reading vertically from top to bottom: ᠪᠣᠣ (Boo) to the right of the hole and ᠶᡡᠨ (yūn) to the left, together identifying the Yunnan mint. The characters are rendered in the cursive Manchu style typical of Qing dynasty cash coinage, flanking the square perforation symmetrically within a flat, unadorned field bounded by a plain outer rim. No additional decorative elements or border beads are present. |
