| Beschrijving voorzijde | Cast copper cash coin with a central square perforation. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around the central hole, reading clockwise from top: 感 (Cám), 元 (Nguyên), 寶 (Bảo), 紹 (Thiệu), forming the reign era legend 感紹元寶 (Cám Thiệu Nguyên Bảo). The characters are rendered in slightly raised relief within a plain, unadorned field, enclosed by an inner and outer rim typical of Vietnamese and Chinese cash coinage of the period. The coin displays an overall patina of green and blue-grey verdigris consistent with age and copper alloy composition. |

Cám Thiệu is not a recognized reign title in the standard Vietnamese dynastic record, and Toda's attribution of this type to a private or unofficial issue reflects genuine uncertainty about its origin. The 1368–1370 window falls within the reign of Trần Nghệ Tông, a period of severe internal instability in the Trần dynasty — court factionalism, Cham military pressure from the south, and weakening central authority all plausibly created conditions under which unofficial cash production could circulate without suppression.
Toda #24 is among the more contested attributions in his Vietnamese series.
