| Obverse description | Irregular hammered silver flan bearing a bold Persian inscription in nasta'liq script arranged across the field in two registers. The legend reads 'Bande-ye Shah-e Velayat Abbas' (Servant of the King of Sanctity, Abbas), accompanied by the Hijri date 1019. The calligraphy is fluid and characteristic of early Safavid coin engraving, with letters merging naturally into one another across the slightly convex flan surface. |

| Reverse description | Irregular hammered silver flan displaying the Shi'a profession of faith (tashahud) in three lines of nasta'liq script, a hallmark of Safavid coinage under Shah Abbas I. The upper line reads 'La ilaha ill-Allah' (There is no god but God), the central line 'Muhammad Nabi-Allah' (Muhammad is the Prophet of God), and the lower line 'Ali Wali-Allah' (Ali is the Friend of God). The script fills the flan with bold, deeply struck strokes, though the irregular planchet results in partial legend truncation at the edges. |
