Reverse description A stylized city gateway with two towers is depicted in the center of the field, rendered in a schematic architectural style typical of Genoese medieval coinage. The letters of the royal name Conrad (CVNRADI) are divided and placed flanking the gateway, with additional letters appearing below the gate structure. The gateway motif, a longstanding civic symbol of the Republic of Genoa, dominates the flan, and the overall relief is bold and slightly irregular due to the hand-hammered technique. A beaded or granular border frames the design at the coin's periphery.
