1/4 Mohar - Pratap Malla

Descrizione del dritto	Central field dominated by a stylized trishula (trident) rising from a decorative base, flanked by Newar script legends arranged in the four quadrants of the field. The design is rendered in relief with characteristic bold strokes typical of Newar hammered coinage. Pellet or bead-form decorative elements are scattered throughout the field between the script characters. The entire design is contained within a plain inner border surrounded by a raised beaded outer border.

Descrizione del rovescio	Three horizontal bands of Newar script legend fill the central field, with the inscription reading the royal name and titles of King Pratap Malla of Kathmandu. The text is arranged in a panel-like format with bold, raised characters in the Pracalit script. The Nepal Sambat date appears in the lower portion of the field. The composition is enclosed within a plain inner circle and a prominent beaded outer border consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Kathmandu Valley.
