| Reverse description | Three horizontal bands of Newar script legend fill the central field, with the inscription reading the royal name and titles of King Pratap Malla of Kathmandu. The text is arranged in a panel-like format with bold, raised characters in the Pracalit script. The Nepal Sambat date appears in the lower portion of the field. The composition is enclosed within a plain inner circle and a prominent beaded outer border consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Kathmandu Valley. |
