Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field features a rectangular cartouche containing multi-line Arabic inscription set within a decorative framework. The legend reads the name and titles of Sultan Faisal bin Turki bin Said in Arabic script, arranged in horizontal registers. The English inscription MUSCAT & OMAN and the Gregorian date 1895 appear in the outer legend in Latin characters. The design is presented without a beaded or decorative border, as indicated by the 'without border' variety designation. The overall layout is symmetrical and typographic in character, consistent with the coinage conventions of the Bombay Mint in the late nineteenth century.
