Description de l’avers	Central field features a rectangular cartouche containing multi-line Arabic inscription set within a decorative framework. The legend reads the name and titles of Sultan Faisal bin Turki bin Said in Arabic script, arranged in horizontal registers. The English inscription MUSCAT & OMAN and the Gregorian date 1895 appear in the outer legend in Latin characters. The design is presented without a beaded or decorative border, as indicated by the 'without border' variety designation. The overall layout is symmetrical and typographic in character, consistent with the coinage conventions of the Bombay Mint in the late nineteenth century.

Description du revers	The reverse displays a central multi-line Arabic inscription occupying the majority of the coin's field, giving the denomination and issuing authority. The text reads 'ربع آنه' (quarter anna) beneath 'مسقط وعمان' (Muscat and Oman), with the isolated letter 'ن' positioned at the top of the design — its precise placement distinguishing the two sub-varieties SC#11 and SC#12. The Hijri date ١٣١٢ (1312 AH) appears at the base of the inscription. No border or additional ornamental elements frame the legend.
