Descrizione del dritto	A lion passant facing right occupies the central field, with an eight-pointed star positioned between the lion's head and tail. A horizontal legend in Latin appears below the device, partially truncated at the coin's edge due to the irregular flan. The design is rendered in a Romanesque style typical of 12th-century Low Countries hammered coinage, with bold, stylised relief work characteristic of the period.

Informazioni aggiuntive	Floris III's comital authority over Holland was still being consolidated against both episcopal rivals in Utrecht and Flemish pressure from the south during this period. Small fractional silver like this moved through local markets and toll stations along the Rhine delta routes — the economic tissue of a county that derived much of its early wealth from controlling waterway traffic rather than agricultural surplus.
