| Obverse description | The obverse depicts two children standing side by side and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, the young girl wearing an oversized American Legion cap belonging to her grandfather. The figures are rendered in high relief against a plain field, conveying a sense of patriotic reverence and generational connection. The legend LIBERTY and the date 2019 appear within the design, accompanied by the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The inscription I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG... arcs across the field, beginning the phrase completed on the reverse.
