Reverse description A bold floriated cross with ornate foliate terminals occupies the central field, its four arms adorned with acanthus-leaf scrollwork and fleuron embellishments. Small rosette ornaments appear in each of the four angles between the cross arms. The date 1799 is placed prominently above the cross at the top of the field, and the Latin motto legend is distributed around the periphery, separated by rosette stops, all within a beaded border.
