Two heraldic roundels flank the upper corners — the left bearing crossed hammers (mining symbol) and the right a stylised wheel or mill motif — all set against a background of engraved tree foliage. A central blank disc is encircled by the legend "HOHENZOLLERISCHES NOTGELD DER AMTSVERBÄNDE HECHINGEN HAIGERLOCH".
