Oberthur Fiduciaire produces these on the same equipment used for circulating European currency, which is precisely why collectors treat them seriously despite the novelty premise. Laxenburg, a Habsburg summer residence south of Vienna, became a favoured imperial retreat under Maria Theresa and later Franz Joseph.
