| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central vignette presents a period illustration of Franzensburg castle set within the Laxenburg palace grounds, with a body of water occupying the foreground. The design evokes a historicist engraving style consistent with 19th-century architectural representations. EuroSouvenir branding and the zero-euro denomination appear in the surrounding guilloche underprint. |

| Opmerkingen |
EuroSouvenir's zero denomination series occupies an odd corner of notaphily — legal-tender format, genuine security printing, zero monetary value. Oberthur Fiduciaire produces these on the same equipment used for circulating European currency, which is precisely why collectors treat them seriously despite the novelty premise. The Laxenburg castle park issue is one of dozens of Austrian tourist-site entries in the programme, each commissioned locally and distributed at the site itself rather than through banking channels.
Laxenburg, a Habsburg summer residence south of Vienna, became a favoured imperial retreat under Maria Theresa and later Franz Joseph.
