The Parc zoologique de Paris issue was among the first wave of 2016 releases, coinciding with the zoo's reopening after a five-year, €170 million renovation that transformed the site from a deteriorating Cold War-era facility into a biome-structured park.
Oberthur's Rennes plant produces these on the same equipment used for genuine euro notes, which is precisely the point — the security thread, microprinting, and UV features are fully functional.
