Reverse description The reverse field is filled with a multi-line calligraphic Ottoman Arabic inscription arranged in four horizontal registers, also executed in thuluth script. The text records the full royal titulature of Sultan Abdülhamid I, including the epithets 'Sultan' and 'Khan' repeated across the lines, emphasizing the ruler's dual sovereignty. Small diamond-shaped and floral ornamental devices punctuate the spaces between lines, consistent with contemporary Ottoman imperial coinage conventions. The entire design is enclosed within a uniform beaded border matching that of the obverse.
