| Obverse description | The obverse displays the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Mustafa III prominently occupying the upper field, rendered in the highly stylized Ottoman calligraphic tradition with sweeping horizontal strokes and characteristic looped verticals. A small decorative rosette appears in the upper right field. Below the tughra, a horizontal line divides the field, beneath which the Arabic mint name 'Misr' (Egypt) appears in bold, flowing Naskh script. The Hijri regnal year 1171 is inscribed at the base of the coin. The entire design is enclosed within a finely beaded border. |
