Vintém 'S / L-G' - Sebastião I

正面描述	Central field dominated by a large Gothic initial 'S', the royal cypher of King Sebastião I, surmounted by a royal crown. A small mullet or pellet ornament appears to the left of the monogram. The surrounding circular Latin legend reads '+SEBASTIANVS : I : REX S', with the mint mark 'S' denoting the Lisbon mint. The coin was struck by the hammered technique, resulting in a characteristically irregular flan with some weakness at the edges. The overall design is typical of mid-sixteenth-century Portuguese silver coinage, combining regal symbolism with a bold, centralised monogram.
