| Reverse description | Displays the Tyrolean eagle displayed, wings spread and head turned to the dexter, rendered in the flat, stylized manner typical of late medieval Austrian hammered coinage. The eagle's feathers are indicated by incised parallel lines across the wings, and the body is depicted frontally with talons visible at the base. A partially visible Gothic legend in Latin script surrounds the device within the beaded border, though the irregular flan causes portions of the inscription to fall off the coin's edge. The composition closely follows the heraldic tradition of the Habsburg-Tyrolean dynastic eagle type as employed under Duke Leopold IV. |
