| 正面描述 | Diademed royal bust facing right, surmounted by a bird ornament or finial atop the crown. The effigy is rendered in the schematic Choresmian artistic tradition, with the facial features and headdress details characteristic of the Afrigid dynastic coinage of the Middle Period. The flan is irregular and heavily worn, with the relief softened by circulation and corrosion. |

Chorasmia occupied the lower Oxus delta region — modern Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan — and maintained its own coinage tradition largely independent of both Sasanian and Sogdian monetary influence during this period. The "Rast Middle Period" designation follows Vainberg's classification of the local dynastic sequence, a chronology still contested among specialists working from the Zeno corpus and Soviet-era excavation reports. Attribution remains uncertain enough that "Unknown Æ" is the honest call.
