| Descripción del reverso | The reverse bears a multi-line Brahmi legend in relief, reading 'Jethamitasa' (genitive form of Jyeshtamitra, meaning 'of Jyeshtamitra'), arranged across the central field in bold, well-formed aksharas. In the lower portion of the field, a swastika symbol and a taurine device are present as auxiliary symbols, consistent with the civic coinage conventions of the Kausambi series. The flan is irregular and the die is somewhat off-centre, as typical for hammered issues of this period. |
