The horse is depicted in full stride with energetic, fluid lines typical of Celtiberian equestrian coinage. Below the horse, in the exergue area, the civic legend is inscribed in the Iberian semi-syllabic script, reading SEKAISA, identifying the issuing city. The overall composition follows the canonical jinete (horseman) type widely adopted by Celtiberian mints of the late Republican period. |
