| 背面描述 | Two tunas (Thunnus thynnus) depicted facing left, arranged one above the other in the central field, a reference to the prized tuna fishing industry for which Abdera was renowned in antiquity. The fish are rendered in a stylized manner typical of late Punic Iberian coinage. A Neo-Punic inscription appears in the field, reading the city name. The reverse design is a hallmark type of Abderan coinage and reflects the economic importance of the bluefin tuna trade in the region. |
