| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in a robust Campanian style, with a thick curling beard and flowing hair. A prominent olive or laurel branch appears behind the head in the left field, a characteristic iconographic element of this Capuan series. The portrait displays strong, slightly archaic modeling typical of south Italian bronze coinage of the Second Punic War period. No legend appears on the obverse. The border is plain and the flan is irregular. |
