| Mô tả mặt trước | Bearded male head facing right, rendered in archaic Egyptian style with Greek influence, depicted within a beaded border. The portrait is rendered in low relief with stylized hair or headdress visible behind the head. The small flan and irregular planchet are characteristic of the hammered fractional silver coinage issued under Nectanebo II. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | Two eagles facing each other in heraldic opposition, their bodies rendered in a stylized manner influenced by Athenian monetary iconography. Between the eagles, the Egyptian hieroglyph nefer (representing the heart and trachea, symbolizing goodness and beauty) is depicted, while the hieroglyph neb (a basket, symbolizing lordship) appears in the lower field. Behind each eagle, an olive branch is represented, a motif directly borrowed from the coinage of Athens. The composition blends Egyptian religious symbolism with Greek artistic conventions. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Nectanebo II, last native pharaoh of Egypt, issued this fractional silver during a reign defined by repeated Persian attempts to reconquer the Nile Delta. The denomination — a three-quarter obol in Greek reckoning — reflects the heavy influence of Greek mercenary troops in his army, who demanded payment in familiar denominations. He lost Egypt to Artaxerxes III in 343 BC and fled to Nubia, ending three thousand years of native pharaonic rule.
