| Obverse description | Eagle displayed standing to right, wings fully spread, grasping a hare firmly in its talons; the prey is rendered with naturalistic detail beneath the bird's powerful frame. The composition occupies the full field in a bold, high-relief style characteristic of Akragantine bronze coinage of the late fifth century BC. To the right of the eagle's body, the partial retrograde legend AKPA appears in Greek characters within the field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with a dotted border partially visible along the rim. |

| Reverse description | Crab rendered frontally in high relief, its carapace prominently detailed and eight legs splayed symmetrically across the field, filling the coin's surface in the characteristic Akragantine style. Immediately below the crab, a crayfish (astacus) is depicted in left profile, serving as a secondary emblem in the lower field. Three pellets, denoting the coin's denomination of three unciae, are arranged in a horizontal row between the crab and the crayfish. The overall composition is bold and naturalistic, consistent with the accomplished die-cutting tradition of Sicilian Greek bronze coinage. |
