Beschrijving voorzijde	Bare head of the nymph Aigiste facing right, rendered in the Sicilian Greek style with finely engraved wavy hair swept back and secured, displaying naturalistic facial features in profile. An ivy leaf is positioned behind the neck as a secondary symbol in the left field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic ancient bronze patina.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A hound standing to the right in an alert, predatory pose, actively devouring a prostrate hare pinned beneath its forepaws, rendered with vigorous naturalism typical of Sicilian coinage of the late fifth century BC. Four annulets are arranged in the upper field above the animal group, serving as value marks denoting the trias denomination. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend present.
