| Obverse description | Bare head of the nymph Aigiste facing right, rendered in the Sicilian Greek style with finely engraved wavy hair swept back and secured, displaying naturalistic facial features in profile. An ivy leaf is positioned behind the neck as a secondary symbol in the left field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic ancient bronze patina. |
